The property is exactly as advertised. Location is about 1 mile from a major thoroughfare and interstate exit. Easy access to to everything in Des Moines and Ankeny. Accommodations were spotless and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. The driveway has plenty of space. Neighborhood appeared to be safe. The location is about 200 yards from I-80 so highway noise is audible, however, we adjusted to it quickly (and we’re both light sleepers). Bring earplugs to be on the safe side. Communication with the host was nearly instantaneous.We may be back in the area next year for a wedding and we’d rebook this place if so.

Quiet, cozy neighborhood

The location was just under 20 minutes from the venu we were going to, the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. House was clean when we came and host was great about communicating!

Nice little house with 3BR

Very clean and nice. Has a basement that has had the floor joists fastened to the foundation walls. Why is that important? It is a proper tornado shelter! So next spring when I'm visiting family I will stay here for that purpose. my only complaint is that it does not have a digital antenna hooked up to the TV. Still my wife and I loved the place and it is so close to my family.
