We were looking for an easy access from interstate and this was one. Was able to check in before check in time of 2 pm. When viewing room which was on 1st floor...decision was it wasn't the right place for us due to my allergies and a musty smell. Other occupants were in hotel hallway making environment a little uncomfortable. Returned key backed to desk even before the 2 pm check in time with explanation of needing room closer to Granger, Iowa. Desk person stated could not refund full charge but possible half. I called hotel after returning home checking on refund....person stated not authorized to give refund. Lesson learned!!

Very nice property that appeared to be well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the linen was fresh. The area around the hotel is great with plenty of dining and shopping.

Room was not clean. Stains on the bed, hairs on the bed, as if the bedding wasn’t cleaned at all from the previous stayer. Streaks in the toilet. Floor was sticky. Something spilled next to the bed and it was not cleaned, just wiped up, sticky with hairs stuck in it. I didn’t end up staying.

Staying at this location is underwhelming. My room allegedly was configured to be handicap accessible (hard surface floor and accessible bathroom) but was on the second floor. This location does not have an elevator for someone with that need to access that room. Stairs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in over a week. Breakfast was underwhelming. "Waffles" looked like they were refrigerated Eggo waffles.

Free breakfast was cold items and mostly prepackaged, building and room is in need of updating and maintenance, no water pressure in the shower, beds were okay but the room was clammy (could see daylight around unit), should have been cheaper considering the lack of amenities and facility condition.
