Unfortunately, we had a miserable stay. The dead car in the driveway & overgrown landscaping should have been a warning. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find out that the “entire home” as listed in the site was actually just a first floor apartment, with VERY loud upstairs neighbors! The interior was not clean. Kitchen counters full of crumbs, the fridge had spills & crumbs all over the interior, the showers were absolutely filthy & the bed linens were stained. The home advertised towels, which were not included. I contacted the owner, who directed me to a few hand towels that were tossed in the closet next to some old pillows (yeah…no!). They made no effort to rectify the issues, offered excuses & claimed the home had been cleaned twice the day before. We ended up having to go buy bed linens, towels & cleaning supplies, which I requested be refunded as linens were to be part of the stay, & I never received payment. It felt very much like someone was living there and they hurried out prior to our stay between the filth and toys all over. We only stayed as there were no accommodations available locally. I always try to find a positive…so…the owner was quick to reply (even if the replies weren’t helpful) and communication prior to our arrival was timely. We purchased the insurance and Vrbo reached out to the owner, who hasn’t responded. Hoping the homeowner or Vrbo make this right & the owner updates the listing. The owner should also provide a closing list.
