They sell you a waterfront view but I got stuck with a room without said view unless I left my room and walked a bit .. totally disingenuous and kind of a bait and switch

The view from this property is unbeatable! Wow! We had an up close view of the entire Depoe Bay. It would have been a great place to sit on the balcony and watch for whales in the bay, but the weather was super rainy and windy while we were there. If I didn’t have an injured foot, we could have walked to restaurants for dinner. The location was very convenient to town. The property itself is a bit dated but was clean.

Very nice, clean, comfortable room! Furnishings were a bit on the dated side but very comfortable and room was spacious. View of the ocean was nice but no whales! Breakfast was good with lots of choices for a small, cute dining area. Easy to drive or walk downtown for some excellent restaurants!

The room was quaint and had a good view of the ocean in Depoe Bay. Walkable to all dining and shopping options which made it so convenient . We also saw some whales which was rad. Didnt like how private beach is being promoted on website but there is actually no access to the beach below but everything else was wonderful.

Gorgeous view of the ocean. Cozy. It would be a perfect spot for viewing winter storms. Responsive staff during check in and when we had trouble figuring out TV remote.

We will return. Perfect for wife and I for a quick getaway weekend. An opportunity to silence everyday life. We stayed in room 10, the "panoramic view" room. It was perfect. Views are breathtaking. Staff got us checked in about an hour early. Breakfast was pretty good for a smaller "continental" breakfast. We love that we could sleep with the window open and hear the waves crashing up against the cliffs. The property and building shows its age, lots of little touch-ups that could be done to hide its age, but overall, very cute, very quiet, perfect place to stay in Depot Bay. WE WILL BE BACK!

A great inn to see whales

Our room appeared renovated. It was nice, spacious and very clean. We saw spray of whale from our balcony. Breakfast: I didn't have but muffins looked good. They provided cans of vegetable juice, orange juice, milk, yogurt etc., in addition to coffee and tea. I saw spray of whale from breakfast table, too.

Save your money !!

Pros: great view of bay and whales, easy access to room on ground floor for disabled room. Office man was very accommodating ( for my husband as I could not check in). Shower chairs available for disabled. Cons: bathroom floor filthy. Very old building and rooms ( desperately need new trim on floors and doorways). No screens on sliding door. Beds hard and wood on edges hard on shins. They charge too much when you can get an upscale modern rental for the same price and cleaner! As for ADA, you can’t even get up to the office no ramp anywhere!! Common folks! You can do better!!
