We received no response from the host—not the day before check-in, nor the day of. The phone number listed went straight to voicemail. I contacted Vrbo support and did receive a full refund, but it took several days for the credit to show up.Because of the last-minute cancellation, I was forced to book a hotel on the spot at double the price just to stay in the area. Vrbo promised reimbursement for the extra hotel costs we incurred, but I have yet to hear back.Honestly, this was a horrible and stressful experience. I expected more from a platform like Vrbo.
