"Mt. Brook Yurt" Off Grid Mountain Yurt

Escape to Mountain Brook Yurt, a magical off-grid retreat tucked beneath the tree canopy overlooking our spring-fed mountain brook. A 5-minute uphill walk brings you to your private forest hideaway—we provide garden carts (and sleds in winter!) to help carry your gear.

Mountain Brook has no electricity, running water or Wi-Fi. We provide oil lanterns and tea lights for lighting, a two-burner propane stove for cooking, and a wood stove with plenty of firewood to keep you cozy.

The yurt sleeps up to 7 with:

1 queen pull-out futon

1 twin-over-full bunk bed

1 additional twin bunk bed

Please note: There is no bathroom, running water, electricity or Wi-Fi inside the yurt. Guests provide their own linens, towels and pillows. In fall, winter and early spring, we recommend a 20°F-rated sleeping bag.

Mountain Brook is family-friendly, and children 8 and under stay free. Please let us know how many guests are coming so we can prepare the space accordingly.

We use self-check-in and recommend arriving before dark on your first visit. Outdoor lighting is minimal, so bring a flashlight or headlamp.

Step outside to explore private hiking trails across our 33 wooded acres, wander along the mountain brook, or simply settle in and listen to the water and woods around you.

Depending on availability, you can also add a private wood-fired sauna session or private yoga class to your stay for an additional cost.
