Very Good

A very close to Denali property with many transportation options and many outdoors activities options. Good dining on site and the rooms are just fine!
Nothing was notes at time of reservation that this hotel is multiple buildings that are not handicap accessible. When questioned at check in they did help us get to room. When I called to get the help at check out the girl was rude and refused. Only after calling back to talk to manager were we helped.
The hotel has beautiful lobby restaurants and amenities however the sleeping quarters are outdated in need in repair. The bathroom door squeaked and ceiling fan made lot of noise so we requested it be disconnected from bathroom light
Excellent all around. Room comfortable, coffee was delicious. Dinners at King Salmon and Fannie Q’s were both good. Shuttles and tour pick ups on time.
This is a princess cruise hotel. Lots of tour travelers arriving and leave at the same time. Large groups reserve dinner but if there’s only 2 of you, you get in right away.
The groups are managed well. Good shuttle to the park.

Liked: Cleanliness
Huge motel. The lobby is like a train station. The maintenance of the rooms is not good. We got stuck with a broken lock in the room and had to go to the lobby three times until they changed the lock.
I wish I had looked up this place sooner in my itinerary! I was not aware that the cruise line also had a hotel line and this place was by far one of the best stays in AK. Not only is it a convenient location with amazing convenience to get to the parks, but it is also a village in itself with lots of shopping and dining options. Although we did have an issue at one of their restaurants with their waiter, overall the stay was great. The rooms are clean and the staff was helpful with planning a day at Denali and transportation. They offer shuttles to and from the park and they even picked up our luggage at the train depot so we could head directly to the park. The luggage was delivered to our room so we didn't have to worry about it at all and everything was very professional (except for the waiter). All in all, I would recommend this stay but figured it was best for a weekend stay than one night. The location is also surrounded by other lodges and walkable distance to other shopping and dining areas across the street. During cruise check in and check out times, the lobby can get a bit crazy but somehow they still manage to organize the crowd accordingly so those taking a tour can also find their correct bus. I would stay here again. Definitely left a positive impression.
