Everything was above average, very nice rooms and great view of Mt. McKinley. Loved our stay. The outdoor area was amazing and plenty of pillows to make you more comfortable

Room was clean and nice. Pillows were awful. We had to use the bed comforter as a pillow. All the employees were super nice. Many were in training as it is the beginning of the tourist season. The outside area around the Main Dining Room, fencing, path ways were in need of repair.

Recommend against this hotel. Worst I’ve ever stayed in. A tent in the Park would be an even alternative if not superior. Keys didn’t work, room furnishings missing, water from sink and shower faucets brown leaving sediment, ice machines missing or broken, food options on property poor at best. Efforts to escalate found absence of manager and supervisor offered slow and minimal response. Appears that business cares very little of customer experience when they’ve a captive clientele due to location.

Like being on a cruise ship on land. Everything is geared toward the masses, and not individuals. Front desk clerk messed up on check-in and our credit card was charged again for a prepaid room. Took a lot of time to (hopefully) straighten it out. The most expensive dining room on the property was the only one open for breakfast (others stopped serving breakfast or shut down by 9 or 10 AM). The restaurant we ate breakfast at had run out of fresh eggs, so many items on the menu were not available. How does a restaurant at a 650+ room hotel run out of eggs? Chose to eat all other meals off site.
