We had a lovely stay at Talkeetna. The room is big enough and the beds comfy and large. The shower is, unusual for Alaska, not fixed at the top so you can take it down which is a plus. The centre is just a 10 minute walk through the forest and the place perfect to explore the surroundings. The owner‘s family who are originally Swiss are lovely.

We had a nice stay at this cute family run inn. The owners and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is an easy 5 min walk along a beautiful wooded trail to the town center. This is a family property. It is NOT a corporate hotel. Do not expect the Ritz but you will get a nice family vibe, a clean room and a pleasant experience. We stayed in the main building so I can only comment on a couple rooms there. They were snug but comfortable. We enjoyed it very much.

The hotel located in walking distance from Talkeetna center in about 10min on a quiet street. Very small basic room. At least, we had 2 queen beds and private bathroom. No microwave in the room. Kind of old outdated interior with dust under the beds and mice smell in the hall. But pretty clean bedding and bathroom. We used this place just for overnight stay. Did not use amenities much or explore dining/breakfast option. We had a dinner and next day breakfast on main street.
