Holland America is really spread out but there is constant shuttle services for guests’ convenience. Two great onsite dine-in restaurants. Had meals at both and very nice. Lot of cruise guests who constantly have to navigate. Had a great room.

Beautiful location and property. Sufficient parking spaces. Room was good. Wi-Fi did not work for guests during the entire stay. Staff appeared clueless about the issue, even though all of the reservation and administration works were unaffected. We did not find dining options (especially breakfast) on the property convenient.

It is a really big Resort in Alaska. We had a great room with a beautiful view of the river (which not a lot of them seemed to have, as we afterward noticed). It is very very busy as the have a lot of group bus tours. They have great shuttle bus services from the train station, National Park etc. and it was very convenient, as the Park Connection Bus and the Denali Wilderness Tour are gonna directly pick you up at the hotel.

Our hotel room had mold on the upper parts of the bathroom walls. Gross!! Less critical: They didn’t have sheets ready for the hideaway bed. The room is very caged considering the cost and rating. It’s a 1.5-2 star hotel with 4-5 star pricing. Onsite restaurant was incredibly slow. It took 2 hours for two salads and a bowl of chili. The positive: the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the shuttle access around the hotel and to Denali were top notch.

While it was a decent place to stay, there are a few things to be aware of. First, parking is not the best. We were told to park in the front lot as there was no parking at the building our room was located. There’s a very steep road that we had to walk up and down to reach our car. Second, there’s one coffee shop in the lobby that opens early. But everyone wants a coffee so the line was 25 people long. The people working were very kind and friendly.
