Other Things to Note:
Mt. Baker is a true mountain destination, and a little advance planning makes the stay even easier.
The home has high-speed fiber internet, although cell service can still be limited in Glacier depending on your carrier. Mountain weather, storms and falling trees can occasionally affect power or internet service, so we recommend downloading your driving directions and check-in information before heading up the highway.
During winter, snow and ice are common. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended for winter travel.
We also recommend stocking up on groceries before heading into the mountains, particularly for longer stays. Local markets and restaurants are available, but choices and operating hours are more limited than in Bellingham.
Snowline’s outdoor heated pool is a summer-only amenity, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
This is a rural mountain environment shared with local wildlife, so please keep food and garbage secure and avoid leaving food or coolers outdoors.
