A little gem with an ocean view. I travel a lot and typically stay in large corporate hotels, so finding this charming little place with an ocean view was great. If you need that chain hotel feel this may not be for you, but if you have a sense of adventure this place is really neat. Friendly and helpful staff, clean room that feels like a casita and comfortable bed.

Hidden gem in Del Mar. I stayed in the Diego Rivera room, which has a nice-sized kitchen area and looks out toward the ocean. The jetted tub was heavenly! The staff is just wonderful, and the morning coffee at the check-in window a nice touch. I walked to the beach and all down the main road very easily. Highly recommend!

This is an old and architecturally funky property, blending traditional Mexican and Asian elements. The bed was comfortable, the pricing was reasonable, and there was plenty of free parking. It is close to all the shops and restaurants, and walkable to the beach.

This hotel is a real find. The location is in walking distance to the beach and town. It has a funky charm and was clean and inviting. Each room is named after an artist and is decorated with that particular artist’s work. It is a no-frills place but has a fun vibe and you can’t beat the price.

The place was alright. Cute, well priced and walkable to cute restaurants. They weren’t as pet friendly as I’d hoped but we were able to work it out. The soaps in the shower were kind of icky and the sheets probably need to be replaced more frequently. The website said there was a hot tub but I didn’t see one, but I also didn’t ask.
