The remodel of this hotel somehow made it worse. Sure it was a little outdated but always seemed clean. Not anymore! It feels like this was the cheapest remodel possible. New Carpet had stains, the fake hardwood floor was dirty with multiple black dirt spots, the shower had a nonstop leak when turned off, finally the room had a weird smell. I know there are not a lot of hotels in Wauseon but I will not stay here the next time I am in town.

The hotel was still in renovation work. The room was renovated and was comfortable and clean. Checkin warned us of things not avail due to the renovation. Breakfast was great with large selection of cold and hot food.

We appreciated that the lobby and dining areas were being renovated which marred our breakfast experience. However the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A false fire alarm also left its mark.
