Trout House is a brand new log cabin located just 25 minutes outside of Boone and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is situated in a postcard like setting on four beautiful acres with a class A stocked trout stream that runs directly behind the cabin the stream. Elk Creek is rated as a second cleanest stream and all of North Carolina. If you are looking for a stream side cabin you will not find a better location anywhere. There is abundant wildlife including trout, deer, turkey, fox, beavers, and birds.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.

The cabin was really cute and had everything you would need. Host was very responsive to all of our questions. We wanted to ski, as cabin was close to Boone, but it was too warm and icy. Instead, we fished for trout and took long walks with the dogs.
