Meh at best

It's a good thing we only had to stay 1 night. Staff was friendly enough but everything else was meh at best. I wasn't feeling well the next morning and my husband was going to bring me some toast from the barely breakfast, and he was told he wasn't allowed to leave the dining room with food which is a strange rule that we've never encountered before and we travel often. There was no butter for any of the breakfast and very few items for breakfast in general. Their was a stain on our bed and my husband really hated the extra firm pillows. I don't understand how this hotel has such positive reviews on hotels.com. There is also a lot of age to the building and it shows. There were loose tiles in our bathroom which shifted whenever I stepped on them and on the second floor in front of the elevator, the floor sags and I felt unsafe standing there. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would choose somewhere else to stay.

2nd time staying at this location for the Hotter’n Hell weekend taking place in Wichita Falls. Great owner, well managed. Clean quiet and comfortable room. Access to everything including shopping gas food. See yall same time next year as this will be my go to!

PROS: Very Clean. Friendly Manager & Wife, willing to work with us. CONS: Toilets are very low, hard to sit on, especially if you have any disabilities, If you do, request a Handicap Unit. Our room had slow drainage in the bathroom sink and Tub. Breakfast is Skimpy at Best. No Coffee Available After 9am. ..BAH!!! Slow Internet. As previously stated, Managers will work with you on accommodations.

Not clean or safe

The staff at check in were nice but this hotel is NOT like the pictures. The pillows were stained and the chair was falling apart and the entire building was so hot. I felt unsafe and left despite losing the money on the room AND my pet deposit. Nice people but this place is unsafe from a cleanliness perspective. I travel with an auto immune condition and he started sneezing as soon as we got to the room. That was all I needed so we left and went to another hotel.
