A gem

Lovely historical hotel. Room was nicely appointed. There is an elevator ( surprising for an older hotel) it is locked down in the evening tho. Casino in the lobby but that is typical for Deadwood.

This was a historic hotel with amazing character. We will definitely be staying here again. The bed, sheets, and pillows were the best we've ever slept on. This was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in this area and was in walking distance of downtown. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly!

Rebecca Adam’s Room

This place is a gem! Honestly I expected it to feel a bit unclean due to the age of the building, but it did not at all. It was very clean. The bed was super comfy as well. Walking off the elevator to the second floor was like stepping back in time. It was surreal. All of the decor fit the time period of the building. Just a heads up, the bathtub in our room was located to the left when you walk in the door and there is no shower. If you need privacy, it would be best to choose a different room. All of the staff were wonderful! I was literally given a tour of the place when we checked in. Great little casino and bar also. Parking was easy and the location is perfect, walking distance to Main Street. If you are looking for a cool experience, I definitely recommend.

Lovely Stay

Stayed for one night with my husband. Room was pretty, clean, comfy. It's a historic building in Deadwood, the floors squeaked, windows are thin so you can hear the street, doors are noisy, but it was an absolute joy to stay in, we'll definitely be coming back! Bed was comfy, lovely fabrics, polite staff, complimentary beverages, free parking, super close to Main St destinations 👍

Stayed in 5/6, the room is beautiful however at checkin we found AC not working, the desk called the owner and he did find a tripped breaker. For the price not worth it for us. The elevator smelled strongly of Kilz primer. The bed had no headboard, only 1 40W light in toilet /shower, no cold water working in the shower, The lady at the pm desk didnt know when the desk opened in the AM. The lady in AM was not at the desk had to wait 5 minutes for her to appear. The building is at a 4 way stop sign and it was diesel trucks and motorcycles at ALL hours with the original old single payne windows it was like standing on the sidewalk. The coffee provided in the morning was luke warm, No breakfast but overpriced diner on 1st floor.
