7-night stay in April. This property is not what we expected. The pictures in the description of the pool that is green and full of trash are just below the room is far worse in person. We kept an open mind when we saw how terrible it looked but wanted to stay on the ocean. As we walked the exterior walkway to our apartment, the immediate next-door neighbor had the door open, was sitting on her bed in a nightgown with trash and was very nasty looking. We entered the apartment and found it was very clean and as described. We were disappointed with no windows to open and enjoy the ocean as we had hoped, as we only had 2 doors that both opened to the open walkway. We had a bad feeling about the people staying in this complex and assumed several live full time. My wife refused to stay as she felt unsafe. We decided to get a hotel room for the night, and I did not contact the host as it was late, and we wanted to look at it again in the daylight hoping we just had a bad first impression. The next day returned and it was a little better being mid-day but felt we could not enjoy the stay, so we chose to leave without disturbing anything and we never occupied the property. Attempted to contact the Host and explained our feelings and that we would not be staying. I told the Host that I understood the "No refund" policy as we had just reserved and paid within the last couple days. I stated we would appreciate any refund issued. As of this writing we have had No response from the Host.
