Looking around our room I could see signs aging near the ceiling line. But the beds were comfortable, staff was pleasant (breakfast lady was great!). Our room had a slightly damp smell.

The room was filthy. The floor was sticky. My husband's socks were black from walking on the carpet. The fruit salad at the breakfast had gone bad. The washing machine didn't dissolve the detergent so I ran the washing machine a second time. That load didn't spin out so I had to wring out the clothing by hand. I had to run 3 dryer cycles (until past midnight). I returned to the night manager for more quarters 3 times. The night manager didn't offer to put my clothing in their professional dryer. The day manager said she would compensate us with enough points for a free stay, but actually gave us nothing.

I booked reservations for my wife and my stepdaughter to attend to a family emergency. My wife read the reviews and saw something about bedbugs being an issue. Because of that they booked a separate reservation at a different property and I ended up staying here at the Hampton Inn by myself. I had no problems at all during my stay there but hope that whatever issue there was with bedbugs, they were addressed with Hampton Inn so that anyone checking out their reviews would know that the problem is no longer an issue.
