The host was fine, the unit was good, but once again, the facility itself was run down and not worth the price you pay. No fault of the unit owner though. The room was clean, fully stocked with the necessities, comfortable beds, etc., the plumbing was not great, it worked but it was questionable but again, that is a factor of the facility, not the unit owner. One of the pools and the jacuzzi were out of order, the cabana is closed, and the beach access has been condemned. The gym was great. The garage parking is 100% not available to guests. So yeah, the room is fine, but the facility and the level of service expected for the price is not at all what it should be, so much so that my husband and I are debating on if we even want to attend the race ever again because we cannot find a decent facility to stay in. This has been true in every place we have stayed in in that area. The units are fine, the facilities and infrastructure are sub-par. The city planners have failed the Daytona area. Shame on them.
