Great spot, unique and charming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Areas for improvement: security and presentation of food. Our stay couldn’t have been better! We were met by Sharon who checked us in and showed us our room. I mentioned that it was our anniversary and she left a bottle of wine for us! The room was immaculate. We had all the comforts of home. Our king size bed was amazing. Breakfast was prepared by Chris and he really outdid himself. The staff was very accommodating. What truly sets the Black Dolphin Inn apart is the outstanding hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Their recommendations made my trip even more memorable, from hidden-gem restaurants to the best sunrise spots along the water. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. Starting the day on the breezy porch with a gourmet meal felt like a treat every morning.
