The Nook - Romantic Couples Getaway in the heart of Daylesford!

The Nook (circa 1861) is a charming, cosy, semi-detached miner’s cottage that sits high on a rise in Daylesford in the popular spa region.

Amongst the oldest dwellings in Daylesford, it’s moody and romantic. You can fall out of bed and straight into the coffee shops literally just two minute's walk away. The Nook is ideal for a couple’s getaway.

Originally a Provedore, the old kitchen chimney, and exposed brick have been retained as a feature and would have provided heat and fire for cooking back in the day. Views from the lounge look towards and beyond Lake Daylesford, and windows from the bathroom and kitchen offer glimpses of the spectacular neighbouring private gardens.

A deep bath and comfortable bed will leave you well-rested, rejuvenated, and ready to explore all the region has to offer, including markets, bushwalks, natural water places, restaurants, cafes, and boutique shopping. Complimentary Binge and Kayo are provided as well as BYO Netflix.

The Nook is now pet-friendly, but it's important to note that we don't have a yard or any outdoor area for your dog. Our space is best suited for small dogs. We warmly welcome you and your furry friend to our home!

Location to town center. Voucher to chocolate shop was excellent value. Parking and walking down to accommodation was difficult. Would have liked a garden space to sit and eat. Small flight of stairs down to the kitchen and bathroom began tiresome. Unpacking food to the fridge. Difficult if you have mobility issues. Property very clean and had good quality equipment and plenty of large towels.

I loved the Nook. I had a solo weekend there, it was perfect for a writing retreat. Great proximity to main street, but quiet. All good.

Lovely stay

Great location. Cottage is cute and great for couples. Food is amazing in Daylesford. Only issue is the bath tap came off and we had to get someone to come turn the bath off one night!
