Lovely people who manage the property. We booked a superior cabin expecting a washing machine/ dryer but wasn’t available. The cabin wasn’t what you would call superior but never mind we made the most of it . Beautiful Daylesford.

The Camelia Cabin was small for three people but we managed okay. Both John and Annemarie were very hospitable. Although they are relatively newish running the park, they did a great job looking after their guests.

Cabin was a bit old and run down compared to other Parks especially ones that are Members of the Discovery & Big 4 group. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful but generally Cabin needed an upgrade and a good cleaning.

I really liked the calm feeling of being under so many large and beautiful trees and being within easy walking distance of the lake. Staff were very cheerful and helpful, very welcoming. Shopping facilities within Daylesford were fine. The only negative was lack of internet access which may have been due to its position or to a misconfiguration by their internet service provider.

When booking through wotif was not informed that the cabin had no ensuit . The showers were very poor with poor water pressure. We had no power when we arrived but was turned on shortly after arrival but came back last the next day to find that the power had been turned back off so the cabin was freezing cold.
