Broqvarn is a beautiful mountain cabin situated a short walk to slope-side at Salamander Ski Trail and Timberline Mountain Lodge which is fabulous for ski/hike/bike adventures. This spacious 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom cabin provides plenty of space for family and friends to spread out. It also provides a large loft area with two extra twin beds. Broqvarn aka Northface 52 is a short walkable distance to the Timberline Mountain Ski Lodge (about 250 yards). Ski all day down Timberline's famous Salamander Trail and then take a break by the cozy fireplace.
Hike and mountain bike the trails during warmer weather. Enjoy the hot tub, sauna and game room with a professional size pool table year-round. The spacious deck tucked in the trees hosts a propane and charcoal grill as well as a safety fire pit, with a small stream meandering past the house. Don't forget, Broqvarn also hosts a sauna for your year round enjoyment.
Broqvarn is only minutes drive to numerous West Virginia State Parks and other attractions including Canaan Valley Resort & Conference Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, White Grass Ski Area, Dolly Sods and the quaint and quirky downtown areas of Thomas and Davis.

Broqvarn has three levels of space to enjoy with a master bedroom on every floor. The main level boasts a fabulous view with deck, charcoal and propane grills to enjoy outdoor family living with a hot tub on the lower patio. Enjoy a summer and fall leaf peepers season on the spacious decks.
Within walking distance to Slopeside/Trailside at Salamander Ski Trail and Timberline Mountain. Please note that it is always advised to use 4 wheel drive in winter to access Broqvarn during inclement winter weather. However Broqvarn is on the lower portion of Northface and has only a slight grade level to travel to reach the home and most vehicles can reach it easily. Broqvarn is a distance of about 250 yards to get to the lodge.

Hair dryers mounted in each bathroom, kitchen fully equipped, Cuisinart 12 cup coffee machine with single serve pods as well, also a Bosch Tassimo coffee/expresso machine, complimentary coffees are provided, ice machine on counter top, professional cleaning and laundry service before your arrival, extra blankets in all closets, some basic spices available, laundry rooms are located on all three level and laundry soaps are provided. Linens (sheet sets and towels) are provided, hot tub towels are provided. Deck provides safety fire pit, propane grill, charcoal grill and table seating. Central AC is not available but AC unit and ceiling fans as well as floor fans are an option if needed.
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with an oven, a stovetop, and a microwave. Conveniences include a washing machine and an iron/ironing board.
Enjoy the recreation opportunities such as a hot tub or make use of other amenities including barbecue grills.

We had an excellent stay at Broqvarn. We were a group of 10, 5 adults and 5 kids, staying for our annual ski trip together. There was more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and then some and a table large enough for everyone to eat together. The walk to the slopes was pretty short. The owners of the house were extremely nice an attentive to our needs. They were probably the best hosts we have had. Our family would definitely stay again. Thanks again to our hosts, we loved your home.

Host was great to deal with and house was perfect for our annual ski trip. With 4 couples the layout was really nice and spread out. One took top floor, we took the bottom floor, and other two were on middle but rooms were spread out and everyone had their own bathroom. Hot tub was huge and worked great, game room and sauna were a bonus and main couch was really comfortable. Easy walk to the slopes. No complaints.

Long Weekend Stay

We had a great long weekend stay at the house with 3 generations of our family. The location was very convenient and enabled us to take advantage of the nearby skiing and snow tubing. The house was much better equipped than we had expected. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and fireplace!

We were one of three families that rented Broqvarn together. We had a great time. The house had everything we needed and was convenient to the slopes. The house is nicer than it looks in the listing. I would definitely stay here again!
