A real gem

This hotel is a real gem positioned in lovely grounds and gardens. Every member of staff we met were very engaging and friendly and they all contributed to ensuring we had a brilliant stay, a special mention to Lisa on reception very knowledgeable, efficient and welcoming.

The water was dirty as there had been problems with the boiler, however, that didn’t help us when trying to have a shower, wash, clean teeth etc. The hotel was quite dated, which isn’t a problem but little things, like bottled water in the room would make a big difference.
