Gakhil was a pleasure to stay in, the rooms were spacious and clean with great views to the east, just right for the sunrise. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and filling.

Indeed a boutique Hotel. Well maintained, equipped with all modern amenities. Clean and warm rooms. Staff are very courtious and helpful. Having a multi cuisine restaurant with more than 50 people acommadation. Enjoyed my two night stay there. In my view , best hotel for stay at Mall road, Darjeeling.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Room was clean. Location is great. Attitude of staff is terrible. No house keeping staff or reception staff or restaurant staff answers to calls from 9 pm to 7 am. The staff needs to be hospitable. We had to drag our luggage to the cab on our own as only one staff was available to luggage who had already been assigned some other guest.
