A beautiful place to stay just sadly on a holiday weekend on a Sunday. The restaurant in this hotel did not have staff needed to drive to another town in a snowstorm. The town was half an hour away and the ride back to the hotel took 3 1/2 hours due to the weather the big disappointment was I picked this particular place due to the fact that the hotel was on same property at the restaurant very disappointed.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Room was clean and on the larger size. Furniture and lamps were a little sparse.The view from the balcony overlooking the golf course and pond was a bonus. We’ve been going here for a few years. The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The front staff is so welcoming. There is a continental breakfast during the week which serves the normal stuff….. yogurt, cereal, bagels, packaged pastries, juice, and a great cup of coffee We find the restaurant good for happy hour but weren’t thrilled with the actual entrées. Overall, we are very happy and will continue to visit.

The lodge was decorated for the season. It was clean and quiet. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the golf course. It was beautiful. The free continental breakfast was sufficient for me. My husband added a hot meal for a small additional fee. My only complaint is that the ice machine was on the lower level and they do not have a vending machine for sodas/drinks. You could purchase cans of soda from the front desk, but the front desk attendant had to retrieve the cold drinks from a different area. We had a relaxing stay. We were going to explore the grounds more on our second day, but it rained.
