fair to average motel, food was great stayed during a busy period where we were woken up every night multiple times by noisy neighbours existing the pub seems to be no controls to keep house guests courteous couldnt fault food or service

I have stayed at the mermaid plenty of times and been a good experience. But this time I got a cheaper room witch was not in rentable condition it stunk realy bad mold everywhere carpet need replacing as I think that was the smell of rotting And I will not be returning Starff were nice and cold beer .

Love the pub & food was great. Rooms are nice for the price too, but the rooms could use some new pillows as ours were very old & had to fold them in half. Overall it was a good stay ☺️

The home of Red Dog. As we are travelling with a dog, we were made to feel very welcome. The pub is lively and great food. The rooms are a bit 1960's, but clean, safe and friendly staff.
