I love the way the rooms are set up at this hotel. There is a double luggage rack so we can both put our big suitcases there. There's a little shelf by the door to put items you need quickly - like keys or cellphones. The bedroom and bathroom are both spacious and welcoming. This is my favorite hotel, and we've stayed here many times. The breakfast is great and the staff has that friendly southern charm!

We use this hotel frequently because it is clean, convenient, and the service is great. We also like that it’s pet friendly! Highly recommended.

When we arrived we were told the water to the hotel had been shut off due to a broken water pipe and it took a couple of hours to repair, along with workers in the room above us installing new flooring for several hours after we checked in. The noise was very loud. The staff never offer us another room and told us we could cancel the stay, but since it was booked with Expedia we may not receive a refund. Along with the water and new flooring being installed above our room, we had to make 3 trips to the front desk because the key fob to the room wasn’t working, after the 3rd trip they sent maintenance to fix the problem. Needless to say we will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again and probably not use Expedia for booking, I really don’t think there’s any savings and I wasn’t able to reach anyone at Expedia or Holiday Inn customer service line. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had during a hotel stay!!

Staff was courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with a decent variety to choose from. Cons: The fridge in our room did not work. My husband is a disabled veteran. Our room was on the 2nd floor. This normally would not be a big deal as we just use the luggage carts and elevators, but there were no luggage carts. We checked in at 11pm at night. When we asked about a cart, we were told that the carts could not be located. It was very difficult to get our luggage to the second floor without any assistance or a cart. When we checked out in the morning, there are 3 carts available. The elevator button on the main floor also was hit and miss as to whether it wanted to work or not, leaving people standing waiting for it until you finally got the button to work.
