Cable and Wi-Fi FREE! Talk about beauty! This Southern Cottage sits on a double lot on Lake Kathy and is located just 30 mins south of Chattanooga off I-75. Super Easy to find. This home is just around 600 sq ft and has 1 bed/1 bath, full kitchen and nice living room with LED TV and huge stone gas fireplace. The view from either inside or outside of the cottage is beautiful. It overlooks Lake Kathy and is PERFECT for a couples get away. There is 1 queen sized bed and a love seat and couch. They do not pull out into an actual bed. This is a NON SMOKING (INSIDE) NO PET property! Listen to the birds and the geese sing while you sit on your rocking chair back porch! Want to fish? Literally open the door and walk straight out to your dock on the water without your feet ever touching grass! Its time to relax and get back to nature. Rest, Rejuvenate and Relax! The smell of the pine trees and quite peaceful days are calling! *This is a personally owned home and is not part of a cottage community for rentals. There are houses all around however this home has a fence blocking next door and a large open lot on one side.     Loved the cabin

    When we pulled up to the cabin, the yard by the water was spread with Canadian geese. What an awesome greeting. Then we entered the cabin and it was everything and more than we expected. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and was an awesome birthday present to me. Was close to everything and best was it was close to my son and his family. There was only one drawback and that was in the bathroom. The tub is very deep and with nothing to hold on to was dangerous for two seniors with mobility issues to use. I'm fact my husband fell in the tub taking his shower and we had a very difficult time getting him up and out of it. For safety sake the tub really could use a rail to stabilize getting in. That being said we loved the cabin.

      Sweet, private moment

      We were wanting a quiet place to relax and found it here. Kind of a junky neighborhood, pulling in, but this listing is the prettiest house on the road. Clean little 1 br with nice kitchen - living place. Wifi and satellite. Lovely back porch with walkway to the dock. Small lake for fishing. Really comfy bed. Only complaint with property is poor water pressure. Not a deal-breaker, but weak shower. We had a very nice time. Grumpy’s Antiques is close by, and was fun. Mr T’s Pizza and Ice Cream in Dalton was great for carry out.

        Great Getaway spot

        This little cottage is very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well-stocked and wi-fi and cable are good. The water pressure isn't great and the neighborhood is run-down (in a country way) but we never felt unsafe at all. Pretty area. Manager was accurate and nothing was different than expected.

            Great little cottage, but . . .

            We enjoyed our stay at Dockside Cottage. The cabin was darling, everything we needed was provided, communication with the manager was fast and friendly, the location was great with easy access to 75, as well as quick travel time to restaurants and stores. It was a great place for a relaxing weekend.
