Check in violated guest safety bc the agent announced our room number so that others nearby could hear it. This is a violation of safety protocol for which I have fired staff agents . The room, while clean & well maintained. Did not have soap bars nor other amenities that other properties would have. The soap was in very hard bottles on the wall that if a guest has arthritis in their hands, they could not squeeze the liquid out. We had to go to the store to purchase bars of soap and other amenities. There is no closet to hang clothes into. Instead it has pegs on one wall, and a rod that looks like a clothes rod attached to the wall outside of the bathroom.
Breakfast was mediocre - tasteless scrambled eggs, and oatmeal that was excessively watery - very little oatmeal to give it any body. No coffee pot in the room. One has to go down to the lobby to get coffee. Sodas and snacks sold at the front desk, but when we went to get 2 bottles, the desk did not have change for a twenty (the total charge was for $6
There was a “deposit “ up front at check in of $50. No notice at all on the confirmation.
We are headed back to the Plano area in the next month for me to get a second surgery, and I will be booking at a different property.
