We loved everything about this little gem. Pat was so wonderful to communicate with. I felt like I made a new friend. The home is so, so charming. It truly is more like a home than a rental. My husband and I travel quite a bit and have rented plenty of places through vrbo and, I must say, this is my very favorite so far. It was clean, well stocked, had every amenity, including TVs with YouTube in the bedrooms (a big plus for me). The bed in the master was dreamy comfort with its pillowy topper. We slept very well there. We were able to park in the driveway in the back of the house and really appreciated that since the street parking in the front gets a bit crowded. We had my husband's full size pick up and, by coming in from the far end of the back alley, he was able to pull in and back out easily. Parking is always an important factor for us because we like to protect our vehicles. This was perfect. The washer and dryer were convenient. Loved that. The back patio was like a ray of sunshine just to look at through the kitchen window. Well done, Pat. Well done. We enjoyed visiting downtown McKinney. There are so many cute shops and restaurants there. The Rustic Chandelier and downtown McKinney compliment one another in a charming sort of way. If you love charming, this is your place. If I ever come back to McKinney, I'm coming back to the Rustic Chandelier!! Did I mention the chandeliers?! I could go on and on. This little doll house has it all. Excellent all around.

The Rustic Chandelier was pure perfection! We were visiting for a baseball tournament and booked last minute. The house was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at! We recently took a trip to Rosemary Beach, Florida where we rented a house with ZERO amenities. This cottage was quite the opposite. It had every single thing we needed and more, along with the very best host ever! I feel like she is actually my friend now! :)

Outstanding Property

This home has everything you could ever need for a short or long stay. The beds are extremely comfortable. The home itself is inviting and cozy. The host is great at communicating and sharing information. We really enjoy the atmosphere and the home feel of the house. The patio is done very well and had it not been a bit too hot for us we would have really enjoyed sitting out there. The House was very clean. Bathrooms were all stocked with everything you could need. for water pressure in the showers. Give this place a shot! It’s well worth the stay. We will certainly be returning soon.

Byron Nelson Golf Weekend

This was the perfect home base for our stay in McKinney for the Byron Nelson tournament. The location was less than 10 minutes to the course, and with Pat's input, we discovered Stix Icehouse, a fun place to eat nearby. She was exceptionally responsive and welcoming, even leaving a card for our birthday boy. The house was spotless, beds super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with the most important thing - coffee! Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Perfect location centrally located

Wonderful! We were coming to town to visit friends and take in some attractions (Southfork Ranch for mom & Legoland for our 8-year-old). A friend also came and stayed with us. First - the beds! OMG super comfy, I felt like a princess, they were high and filled with layers of softness. We never used the little room, we managed to sleep with three of us. Despite it being a queen, we all slept great. Our friend reported the same, about how comfy the bed was and also how high it was. There are games & books which our little found right away as well as a secret little nook under the stairs. We spent the mornings in the outdoor patio area and drank coffee. We were in the middle of all the areas we wanted to see. Pat was wonderful and responsive. She checked on us and left a sweet note. We told our friends who live in the area about the place in the event they need to suggest a place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.
