Facade was being renovated, but the exterior was a complete mess. Construction messy. We had rain and the roof leaked in the lobby so bad, they had to bring in giant bins to catch all the water. We had to use an alternate entrance, that was small and unsightly. The worst part was our room. It was what needed the renovation. It smelled like mold/mildew, the bathroom door squeaked terribly, the grout in the bathroom was stained (or dirty). We asked to be moved to a different room, which they accommodated, and our new room was better, but the facility is just old and is need of a complete re-do. It was a disappointing stay for sure.

We were so disappointed that there was no indication that the hotel was under renovation. There were big bins and buckets throughout the main entrance full of water dripping from the sealing so we had to be super careful walking bye so we wouldn’t get hurt. When housekeepers finally came to clean the room they only did the bed and put new towels. Don’t bother to vacuum floor. And for the breakfast they kept running out of food and would get upset when asked if more was coming out. The TV in the room had a line going through the TV and although there were two TV’s there was only one remote so when turning one TV on the other would turn off. And the kicker to this whole trip was the hotel having an outdoor pool but not being open although the weather was in the 80’s on most days. Very disappointing as we particularly chose the hotel for the pool.

The staff and breakfast was great but that was it. Our first room the A/C was broken so they gave us a new room that had smashed lamps, questionable stains all over the carpet, and broken glass on the couch. Then on the last night of our stay the battery in our door died so we were unable to enter our room for 90 minutes. The front desk could not get ahold of the on call staff to come open the door, so we had to use the tool they would have to try and open the door ourselves which we successfully did after trying for an hour. We asked if they could call a locksmith and they said that they could not so unfortunately the only way to get into the room was us trying to jimmy rig the lock ourselves. Then once we were in we could not leave our room without getting locked out, and it took them till 12pm when we checked out the next morning to fix the battery in the door.

Friendly staff

We showed up early but Jonathan was a huge help. The whole staff was super helpful and friendly. Cathy helped us during breakfast. She had great customer service. But overall everyone was amazing, but Cathy and Jonathan stood out the most. The only problem we had was that the bathroom. Didnt lock.

They were renovating the facility but the outside was in very poor condition with trash everywhere. Our room stunk like cigarette or weed each night. There were ants in the bathroom and when housekeeping was requested they did not clean our room. Just made the beds.

Birthday party

The room was nice and clean and we had a birthday party in the room. Qua was wonderful at check in. We met the nice lady who prepared breakfast but woke up too late to eat. Parking was poor and hard to do because of large construction equipment being stored in front of the awning and made it hard to back out of the handicapped parking spot. The shower curtain in room 110 was 8 inches too long and caused my 89 year old mother to slip in the tub. She caught herself before falling to the ground.

This hotel is under construction and the front looked like a disaster. We actually thought the hotel was closed. Once checked in the hotel hallways were dirty and wallpaper falling off the walls. The AC unit in our sounded like a freight train coming through the wall ever 30mins. There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Not restaurant or bar in site. Closest restaurant was at least 20 min walk. I don’t mind the walk but a bit ridiculous.

The staff was very pleasant and attentive however the hotel was under renovations so that was an inconvenience to use alternate doors further from my room. The entire hotel smelled like mildew, my room was hot and AC didn’t cool to a comfortable temp of my liking until 3rd day which was the day I left. Breakfast was also disgusting, eggs should not be watery and bread products were stale. I will not be bringing my family back to this hotel.
