My stay at Crown Plaza Dallas Downtown was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience due to several issues that significantly impacted my visit.
The front desk service was notably poor. The staff seemed disorganized and unhelpful, making check-in a frustrating process. Their lack of professionalism set a negative tone from the start.
Additionally, the bar closed much earlier than advertised, which was inconvenient for those looking to unwind in the evening. Similarly, the pool closed earlier than expected, limiting access to a key amenity. To make matters worse, the pool was dirty, with visible debris that made it unappealing and unhygienic.
I had booked a balcony room, but it was canceled prior to check-in without any clear explanation or adequate resolution offered, which was a major letdown. To top it off, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low, making for an uncomfortable and inconvenient experience.
Overall, the combination of poor service, limited amenities, and maintenance issues made this stay far below expectations. I would not recommend Crown Plaza Dallas Downtown unless significant improvements are made.
