My first rental, cute Little House on the Prairie

This was my first Vrbo rental. I was concerned about the area but it was very quiet. We did have an issue with opening the door. The host responded quickly. The lock was stuck but after multiple tries we got the door open. This is definitely an older home that is an fixeruper. If the owner put a little TLC in this place, it could be a hidden gem. This place definitely has its pros and cons. Pro 1. Very quiet location 2. All the basics you need for a renal 3. Easy access to the road Cons 1. Weather strip was falling off the front door 2. It was hot in the house the AC stayed at 78°. I contacted the host, no response 3. The towels were very cheap had lint all in my hair 4. Left over coffee grounds in the coffee pot 5. The home is older and they painted over things that need to be replaced 6. The shower need to be completely redone. 7. The bed very uncomfortable (hard mattress) 8. No lock up instructions when checking out Suggest: extend the front porch so guest can have a place to sit outside and add a simple patio set. But over all the place was decent because I only rented it for one night.
