Room 1: had a ginormous cockroach and the toilet roll had literal faeces on it immediately at check in. All was documented. I was then moved to another room. Room 2: water from the bathtub didnt drain and the microwave didnt work. When these issues were brought up to the manager/owner, he said he would refund me one day, and then would refund the full amount from Expedia's side IF expedia approved it. Expedia called, he said no we don't do refunds. They emailed me about it saying he refused to give them their money. I called them, they said theyd call me back, but as expected they didnt call me back. I cant make personal remarks towards any individuals, but what I will say is I have lived in a civil war where i was held at gunpoint, shot at multiple times, my school was bombed, and my apartment was hit by a missile. Im frankly fortunate to have left there with a few scars and PTSD. And id go back there in a heartbeat before booking at this establishment again.
TO BE CLEAR: If he said no refund at the start id have no issues. The fact the promise was not kept is my issue.
