In addition, a Finnish sauna, a steam room, and a table tennis room are available right in your vacation complex. To ensure you can fully relax on vacation and have everything you need, we completely renovated our apartment in 2021. You can look forward to, among other things, a wood-burning stove, a completely renovated bathroom, a Shiatsu massage chair, a dishwasher, free Wi-Fi, and a stereo system. Your own beach chair, bicycles, museum and zoo visits, etc., are all included!!! ADDITIONAL SPECIAL AMENITIES: We’re thrilled to have been able to offer our guests sensational extra amenities completely free of charge since 2021! This includes free admission to the famous Zoo am Meer in Bremerhaven, including participation in the polar bear feedings and seal training sessions, which usually take place several times a day. You’ll also receive free admission to the interactive “Phänomenta Experiment & Experience Exhibition.” Also included in the price are your own free beach chair on the beach, two bicycles, and much more. By the way, you can use all of these amenities as often and for as long as you’d like—throughout your entire stay! This offer is not available at any other vacation accommodation and is a very special service for our guests!<br><br><br>ON-SITE SWIMMING POOL, STEAM ROOM, AND FINNISH SAUNA:<br>The on-site “subtropical” swimming pool, with a pleasant water temperature of 28 degrees, is the heart of the facility and is available exclusively to vacation guests at no cost whatsoever. It measures an impressive 70 square meters and was recently completely redesigned, so you can look forward to a high-quality atmosphere. In addition, our guests have the option to use the two “sauna & relaxation areas” for a minimal fee of approximately 1–2 euros per session. Here, you’ll find two different saunas (including a relaxation room, lockers, and changing and shower facilities). One is a classic Finnish sauna (with waterfall showers), where you can enhance your sauna experience with aromatic infusions, for example, and the other is a sauna area featuring a spacious steam room.<br><br><br>BEACH AND RELAXATION: <br>In Duhnen, the beach stretches as far as the eye can see—and it’s practically right on your doorstep. The kilometer-long, fine-sand beach, the Wadden Sea, and the North Sea are all just a quick and convenient 5- to 7-minute walk from our vacation apartment. Just head down a side street and you’re there: right in the heart of Duhnen and close to the many beach access points. On Duhnen’s sandy beach, children and adults alike can enjoy wonderful swimming in the clean, gently sloping water. Splashing around, swimming, building sandcastles, snorkeling, playing, surfing, sailing, taking hours-long walks, or simply relaxing on the sand or in your own beach chair (included with your stay!)—the choice is yours. There’s also a special, separately designated entertainment beach and even its own “Stadium by the Sea,” featuring various beach sports fields and a regular program of activities and events from May through September. <br><br><br>WADDEN SEA & OCEAN: <br>In addition to Duhn’s long North Sea beach, the Wadden Sea—which, by the way, is part of the world’s largest Wadden Sea—is, of course, the region’s absolute highlight. At low tide, you’ll have the unique opportunity to walk along the seabed and make interesting discoveries. A stroll to the tidal creeks is especially worthwhile, where you can take a relaxing dip in the often-warm water. By the way, a walk on the mudflats is exceptionally healthy and stimulates the entire body. We also highly recommend joining one of the many mudflat tours.
