There’s a lot of strict rules and extra add ons if you have more people or want heat. But is good basic, no frills place. They have the front door locked 24/7. They gave us a bag to take to the airport with us since we were leaving early.

The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly, we had a couple of planned excursions where we left at 4am in the morning and they made sure to wake up and give us some bags with snacks and water for our events.

Wonderful family-run hotel. Exceptionally clean, quiet, great breakfast. The manager is a very caring man, who drove me to a medical clinic when I started feeling sick from altitude sickness and was travelling alone, to make sure I was okay.

A very warm welcome, excellent Customer Service, shown to my room, spacious, clean and well presented. Great supply of hot water, toiletries typical Peruvian with bar of soap and v. small shampoo conditioner. Clean towels every day. Great breakfast. And great Customer Service on leaving with the Manager insisting on carrying my bags out to the taxi. Wouldn’t hesitate on recommending?

Top stay

Rooms were really nice. Very clean, shower excellent with lots of hot water, very quiet area so always a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really good. They serve you at your table and it sets you up for the day. It’s about a 15 minute walk in to the main square. Go out the hotel and turn right up some steps and then turn left. 15 mins along that road and your in the centre. £1.50 for a cab home after having had a lovely meal in Cusco. Owner is a great guy. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel

The hotel sent someone to pick us up from the airport even though our flight was an hour and 15 minutes late and they let us check in early. It is these details that make this a great choice for hotel when staying in Cusco. It is also only a 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas.

We had a nice stay at the Ureta Hotel. Our group stayed for two nights before leaving on a hiking trip and then returned for one night when we got back to Cusco. They held our luggage for us while we were gone and had it in our rooms waiting for us when we returned. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh each morning. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the main square. We were able to utilize the airport shuttle upon arrival, but did not realize the shuttle does not take guests from the hotel back to the airport. The hotel helped us arrange a taxi for an early morning flight. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again!
