4/10 Poor

Great location nearby local shops, restaurants and the main square. It is a large house with four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and basic amenities. We ate out at restaurants in the area so didn't use the kitchen much. The first floor smelled a little musty, and the house gets cold at night, as we couldn't find any heaters in the house, so we used extra blankets. We spent 18 hours per day away from the house, so it was fine for just sleeping. As a note, you'll need an electric converter if you are from the US and buy filtered water as tap water will make you sick even for brushing teeth (we learned the hard way).Reason for the 2 stars: We arranged for check-in to be 2AM due to our flight arrival. When we arrived at the property, the keys were missing and we could not get into the property. We had to search for a secondary Hotel room for the night of which ONLY the JW Marriott was open that late which cost 900 USD for the 1 night! We requested a refund for the cost of the VRBO 1 night issue, of which the host chose not to respond. Also during the stay, the water was shut off for 8 hours while a couple people were showering, creating a mess of shampoo still in the hair and not able to flush toilets or wash hands. This was a shut-down by some contractors, but no warning ahead of time. Overall, this is a solid place to stay if you need a bed and basic amenities, the house was very clean, but it lacks some of the common amenities if you are used to living in the US.
