The room had a nice view and amazing hot water pressure in the shower. The free breakfast in the morning was great too, with eggs to order. Altogether a great experience for the price and would definitely recommend!

The property is located in a steep hill, which I have to say makes it more quiet, but it was difficult for Taxis and cars to get there. Beside sthis, the place is perfect. Staff is super nice and are always willing to help you with anything and everything. They only serve breakfast wich is super nice and delicious, healthy options and very complete. Less than a block away is this perfect little restaurant called New Garden. I tried almost every meal in the menu and I super recommend it for lunch and/or dinner options.

We stayed 7 days in this hotel. Our room and bathroom was large. The breakfast was great. The location is good but at high elevation. The service from the staff was excellent. The challenges were the climb from the main square and the heater was not strong enough to cover the large room. However, great experience overall.

Service was fantastic, food was fantastic, location was great - close to the plaza where all the shopping was located. The walls were a bit thin, but it didn’t bother me as much given that I tend to be a heavy sleeper.

Very friendly front desk people and they were very attentive. The only thing I didn't know is that it was uphill and the altitude was killing me when trying to get back to the hotel and some taxis didn't want to get you up there. Other than that, I loved it!

This charming boutique hotel features friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. Both the hotel and our room were clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We truly enjoyed the stunning view from our room and the amazing breakfast offered each morning. The hotel is conveniently located in a walkable area of Cusco, with restaurants and the Plaza de Armas just a short walk away.

The hotel was pleasant enough and the people were helpful and friendly, but the room was very cold and the wall mounted air condioner / heater did not heat the room at all. My travelling companion had an electric bar fire mounted on the wall of his room which heated his room, but my room was permanently cold. Consequently, the bedding and bathroom towels felt damp, and overnight the room filled with condensation.

The hosts were lovely! Room was nice too, nothing overly fancy but good location. You do have to walk steep hill to get there but by the 3rd day we were used to it. There is coco tea on site for free and can buy large water bottles. The breakfast was very basic so wouldn’t recommend but they gave breakfast boxes for early starts which was nice. Netflix was unreliable in general, the internet worked well on the phone but not the TVs. I would also recommend ear plugs, walls are thin and could constantly hear fireworks. A good budget friendly stay

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Cusco Gold Garden is an absolute treasure. Perfectly located just a short walk from the center of town, it’s close to amazing restaurants, artisan shops, and many tour meeting points—yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. My room was spacious and full of light, with large windows offering stunning views of the city. I loved having a cozy breakfast nook and a luxuriously comfortable king-sized bed to come home to after long days of exploring. But what truly sets Gold Garden apart is the staff. They greet you by name, remember your preferences, and go above and beyond to make sure you’re cared for. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and personal. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for charm, comfort, and soulful hospitality in Cusco, look no further. You will not regret staying here. 💛

Good small hotel, very caring staff.

Good: Big and nice room. There is air-con in room. Staff are super helpful and caring. Breakfast is simple but good enough. They also prepared breakfast to go for our tour. Downside: The hotel is located at the middle of the high slope. Uber and tour pick-up usually do not stop there. The hot shower water pressure was not high enough except the first morning. In-room amenities were not enough. Only one tooth brush was provided for two people and also no tooth paste. No facial tissue was provided.
