Highly recommended! I’ve been to this hotel twice and have never felt disappointed. This is a really cozy hotel with a beautiful courtyard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doors, walls, and windows are thin. you could hear every door close, the staff yelling at each other asking for stuff so sleep was not very restful. Bathroom is sub-par, no hair dryer, no ventilation. The room is very small, dark and damp. Pieces of the light on the ceiling were missing. The patio is a source of tremendous noise for the rooms around it. Every day we were waken up at 5 am by the staff preparing breakfast. People stay there late at night talking, and because there is a sun roof over the patio, all the noise reverbs, making it difficult to rest. Worse, when you are in the patio trying to enjoy a below average breakfast, you can hear all the noises people are making when using their bathroom: showering or doing you know what.

Hotel Huascaran is a nice small hotel near the city center. Staff were very nice, helpful and considerate. Property is pretty, a light breakfast is included and they have 24 hour reception. Rooms are basic but clean. May want to bring a washcloth, they don’t have them (or anywhere in Cusco really). We enjoyed our stay!
