Nice Hotel in a great position. Staff were all lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the shower was electric so wasn't very powerful but other than that couldn't fault it.

The facility is a beautiful historic building with picturesque grounds. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 day. Food and wine were terrific and the very busy owners helped us with some very silly requests to operate the radiator and find global news on the TV. I highly recommend this fine hotel!

This is a lovely hotel, with beautiful spacious grounds . The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are all very helpful. It's in a good location close to the village, the only thing I'd say could be improved is the night food , it's basic pub grub ....the breakfast is fine though .

Needs a refurbishment throughout, but primarily in the bedrooms. Food was okay, but very typical managed house fayre - nothing exciting, but everything edible. Friday night in May at £165 felt relatively poor value. Breakfast is served under hot plates buffet style and is not replenished frequently.

Room was clean and a good size, over the bath shower. Lakeside view was lovely. Peaceful stay in a quiet hotel. Breakfasts were hearty, fresh and locally sourced Cumberland sausages. Sunday roast good but the deserts were a disappointment. Overall happy we will be back to stay again
