The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. It was a great value for the money. I would have given it 5 stars, but the breakfast was a bit slim just waffles and some cereal and bread, so we went out for breakfast.

The other reviews I read here were overly harsh. This is definitely a mom and pop - type hotel, and it's run that way. You'll see all the shortcuts they took, but its inexpensive and convienient to Hartselle, and the staff was friendly and accessible.

I stay for the convienence to friends and have stayed at this Red Roof several times. Pet friendly. Place is clean and well lit. Only downside is that they need to keep up with maintence. I found the toilet seat very worn and missing mount pad. AC units do not seem to remove humidity from the room and settings would not accept what was put in.
