      We had to walk away from Casa Mango today. It was run down and didn't feel safe. The photo is of the top floor but we were shown what was basically a walk out basement. We got a hotel room with full kitchen on the harbor for literally half the price. The door had no door knob or latch. The only way to close the door was to pull on the key hard enough the shut the door. The AC in the master BR was soo loud it wasn't usable. The very old windows didn't close enough to make good use of the AC We just had to walk away and find other accommodations.

      We chose this place for my birthday trip - it was the clear favorite on our trip. We enjoyed having a kitchenette, and a small balcony overlooking the water. There were wonderful nearby dining options, and fun places to explore. The roads leading to this place and other locations on the island are not for the faint of heart. Along with the usual potholes, there are some surprisingly steep hills! The ladies that checked us in were wonderful, and very helpful. This place definitely felt like home for the short time we were there.

      Great bed and breakfast. Penny was very helpful in recommending places to visit. She gave us a map and lended a beach chair as well. Moreover provided her personal suggestions on places to visit. The place was clean and comfortable. Great price as well. Recommend if your looking for a non- luxury,peaceful and nice place to stay.

      We have a relaxing time. Hotel need more workers for busy times. We stayed when there was a large convention and room service took long and room needs more housekeeping. Overall a good time.

      Great location, right on the bay. We were able to tie the boat up right up front. Hotel staff was not all that welcoming or friendly. Restaurant was GREAT, bar service was nice. Clean room, we rented 3 separate rooms (3 couples) the 2 rooms on the first floor were in poor conditions, should be remodeled already, the room on the 3erd floor was much nicer, but still a bit small, not really worth the price, but the hotel itself has a rustic feel to it. Pretty much AVERAGE, not WOW just OK. Best thing about it was the location.

      It was a Sunday night before Labor Day. AC was NOT working and it was about 100 degrees. Local bars had very loud music until 2 am, however since AC was not working, we got NO sleep that night. Windows were broken and there were bugs/roaches. The owner did refund our money, however and we moved to another Hotel and had a nice time going forward.
