    The cottage is nestled in the heart of the Norman countryside, so it took a little navigating to find its location (Google maps seemed confused about how to get there). Nonetheless, we enjoyed the quaint, rural setting, and we were able to use the cottage as a base to make day trips to D-Day sites, Mont St. Michel, and both Bayeux and Caen. The property is constructed in a traditional Norman style, while still having modern amenities throughout. The property owners live on site, in an end unit, which allowed them to respond to questions, in person, in only a matter of seconds. They keep the property in excellent condition. We were able to meet the owners during our stay and they were both very pleasant and helpful. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again.
    This chapel is just up the road.
    The surrounding area is agricultural.

    Quiet in a small hamlet

    Nice property very well situated for the Bayeux Tapestry and D day beaches. Very clean and well presented. We had a nice bottle of local apple juice to welcome us. Very tasty.

    Perfect little stay

    This gite is perfectly placed for all D Day beaches and places of interest. A good, quiet place to come back to and reflect. It was beautifully clean and well presented and the hosts gave us a warm welcome & a lovely arrival gift.

    Hallo, es war guter und erholsamer Urlaub in der Normandie. Wir hatten eine sehr liebe Familie als Gastgeber mit toller UnterstĂŒtzung.Eine Idee fĂŒr eine Verbesserung. Wir waren mit Hund, jedoch gab es außer der verbauten Terrasse keine Auslaufmöglichkeiten fĂŒr den Hund und der Platz der Terrasse war eingeschrĂ€nkt. Vltt kann man es um ein StĂŒck garten erweitern, dann wird die UrlaubsqualitĂ€t noch erhöht.Mfg Familie Jacob

    Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huisje. Super veel mooie dingen gezien en gedaan. Kanoën in Zwitsers Normandië was erg leuk. De stranden mooi en de dorpjes prachtig. Het huisje was een fijne uitvalsbasis om de streek te ontdekken. We hebben heerlijk geslapen en de douche en wc op iedere kamer is heerlijk. Het is een knus huisje beneden. De keuken is wat klein om te koken voor 4 personen en er missen wat spullen daarvoor.We werden warm verwelkomd met een welkomstcadeautje. Onze hond heeft het ook fijn gehad. Vooral de avondwandelingen aan het strand met de prachtige zonsondergang!

    Bien au calme, le logement est bien situĂ© pour visiter toutes les plages du dĂ©barquement ainsi que les villes/villages autour, de Honfleur et la Pointe du Hoc. Les 2 chambres avec salle de bains privative Ă©taient parfaites pour 4 personnes, et le salon Ă©tait trĂšs confortable. La cuisine est petite mais fonctionnelle, mĂȘme s’il manquait quelques outils pour ĂȘtre parfaite (un lave-linge aurait Ă©tĂ© trĂšs utile, mais difficile Ă  caser dans la place disponible !). La petite terrasse Ă©tait Ă©galement un plus.

    Gite trÚs agreable et calme, bien placé pour visiter la region

    Loger au gite de la Poste nous a permis de nous reposer dans un environnement trÚs calme et de visiter la region facilement. Il est situé non loin de Bayeux et de tous les lieux à visiter.

    EXCELLENT gßte. Il y a bcp de points positifs comme les 2 chambres équipées chacune d'une cabine de douche et de toilettes séparées. Quelques manques (couteaux à steaks, seche-serviettes, valets ou chaises et lampes de chevet dans les chambres) Mais le gßte vient d'ouvrir récemment ... Sinon endroit bien calme et bien situé pour les visites aux alentours. Merci encore !!!

    Aangenaam verblijf in comfortabel huisje

    Rustig en goed gelegen vakantiehuisje voor het maken van uitstappen in de streek, wat we elke dag hebben gedaan. Perfect geregeld en goede ontvangst door de eigenaars met een lekkere attentie ter verwelkoming. Klein keukentje maar al wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Elke kamer heeft zijn eigen douche en WC, heel praktisch. Wifi en 4G wordt soms onderbroken maar dat ligt aan de regio en is overmacht, wij hadden zelfde ervaring op andere plekken in Normandië. Heel belangrijk : ons hondje was ook welkom, een noodzaak voor ons. Gilliane en Quintin zijn trouwens grote dierenliefhebbers. Ook belangrijk : ruime parkeermogelijkheid aan overzijde van de straat, volledig in de natuur. We hebben genoten van ons weekje verlof.
