Croftville Road Cottages #1. On the Shore of Lake Superior. Cozy and Romantic.

Located 80 feet from Lake Superior’s beach, Cottage #1 provides the gentle sound of breaking waves hitting the shore. There is a spectacular open view of Superior on the right with a large spruce tree on the left. Only walking paths, natural vegetation, and rocks separate you from the water. A stairway provides easy access to the 540ft of rocky beach. In front of Cottage #1 is a fire circle with comfortable seating and a charcoal grill. The front bedroom features a queen bed, a romantic gas stove, and a lakeside patio door. The living room has a decorative gas stove and a picture window looking out upon the lake. It is furnished with a plush futon, 2 wingback chairs, a smart TV with access to the internet (no broadcast TV), a DVD player, and a dinette set. The rear of the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom with a full-size bed. This four-season cottage is open all year and has wireless internet access. An artesian well provides excellent water for drinking. Cottage #1 sleeps up to 6 people (2 on the futon) with all linens provided.

Rates and Policies:•
• We have a 2-night minimum stay on weekends and a 3-night minimum stay on holidays and special events.
• We have no cleaning fee. We do, however, charge for extra guests.
• As a host, we pay a 5% commission to Vrbo to use their platform. This is included in your pricing details and will not show up as a separate charge.
• As a guest, you pay a 6-12% service fee to Vrbo to use their platform. This is included in your pricing details and will not show up as a separate charge.
• When you complete making your reservation, you will be charged separately by Vrbo for your service fee and by us for your booking deposit.
• We are required to collect and remit 12.375% in state and local sales taxes on your booking amount. Vrbo is required to collect and remit 8.375% in state and local taxes on your service fee. These will show up as taxes in your price details.
• The remaining balance for your booking is due to us at check-in. We accept the major credit cards, checks, and cash.
• If you must cancel your reservation and are due a refund according to Vrbo's cancellation policy, we charge a $25 cancellation fee.

Croftville Road Cottages is conveniently located just 3 miles from downtown Grand Marais on the lakeside of scenic Croftville Road known by locals as the "walking road".
