Pros: location and beautiful view. Great infinity pool Cons with some suggestions: 1. We booked a terrace suite but we are not convinced that is what we got. Room was smaller, darker and not as nice as the website pics. You may want to update your website pics to properly reflect room to your customers 2. Odor outside of our room. We were in room 1 that had a strange odor in the hallway just outside our room. You may wish to address that smell asap 3. The hotel seemed soulless. While we appreciate low touch service as explained on the website, small things like music playing in the hotel lobby//breakfast area and grounds may help. Also, ensure that there is at least 1 staff member visibly present in the lobby during working hours (we went several times to the lobby to ask questions and no one was there, nor answered the bell when we rang it) 4. Service. Subpar service for the price point. Suggestions are to provide an explanation of hotel and room amenities and services upon check in, serve your clients coffee at breakfast instead of self service for that (esp given the coffee machine as not working well), ask your clients how their stay is going esp if you have someone more visible, offer to carry your clients luggage to their room if they have large bags) 5. Breakfast. Other than the suggestion above regarding coffee, you may want to ensure you have enough food at the buffet table when your hotel is busy. You should also proactively inform your clients

Great hotel but lacks personal service

The hotel is of a very high standard with wonderful views of Mont Ventoux. We had a detached garden house which was amazing. Where the hotel is lacking is around a personalised service. There are minimal staff and they rarely interact with guests. The hotel operates on a “help yourself” basis. There is an honesty bar and breakfast is entirely self service. Staff do not approach your table to clear plates until you have left. There is no food in the evening which is a shame and surprise for a hotel of this standard and which charges €350 a night. On arrival you are asked if you want a restaurant booking at a place in the village. We were reluctant but did not regret it at Le Veux Four. It became apparent that every new arrival must to recommended the same as we went a second time and all arrivals that day were in there. There is clearly a connection with the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay but the hotel could be so much more if staff interacted with guests. Even at checkout we were not asked how our stay was. As a result the hotel tends to lack atmosphere which is a real shame as the hotel itself is great. They appear to have taken it a little far in terms of making it feel “home from home”.

Nous avons passĂ© un excellent sĂ©jour, largement grĂące Ă  une Ă©quipe jeune, dynamique, trĂšs efficace et particuliĂšrement sympathique. Un grand merci Ă  tout le personnel pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur professionnalisme. La chambre Ă©tait trĂšs belle, bien dĂ©corĂ©e, confortable, et conforme Ă  nos attentes. Cependant, deux points mĂ©ritent d’ĂȘtre signalĂ©s pour plus de transparence : - Dans la brochure de l’hĂŽtel, il est mentionnĂ© la prĂ©sence d’une enceinte Harman Kardon, mais nous n’en avons trouvĂ© aucune dans la chambre. - Concernant la salle de sport, les photos sur le site sont malheureusement trĂšs trompeuses. Ce qui est prĂ©sentĂ© comme une salle de sport bien Ă©quipĂ©e n’existe pas: quelques machines ont Ă©tĂ© dĂ©placĂ©es Ă  l’extĂ©rieur, sous la terrasse, posĂ©es Ă  mĂȘme les cailloux, sans sol adaptĂ©. Le tapis de course est vĂ©tuste, et les vĂ©los ne sont pas du tout Ă  la hauteur de ce qui est montrĂ© en ligne. Heureusement, le beau temps Ă©tait au rendez-vous, et nous n’avons finalement pas eu besoin d’utiliser cette "salle de sport". Nous recommandons vivement Ă  l’établissement de retirer ou de mettre Ă  jour ces photos, pour Ă©viter toute dĂ©ception aux futurs visiteurs. En dĂ©pit de ces petits dĂ©sagrĂ©ments, notre expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs positive et nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hĂŽtel pour son confort et surtout pour la qualitĂ© de son service. I travel all over the world, nine months of the year. I can tell you that La Maison de Crillon is absolutely, hands-down one of the BEST hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Magnificent location under Mt Ventoux; beautiful room with private terrace; honor bar/food stocked with excellent wines; gracious and friendly staff. What more can you possibly ask for? I’m so happy I found this gem and will 100% be back again in the future. Thank you so much for a peaceful and amazing stay.
