Great location, quaint, easy loading in and out, with a friendly staff... Check-in and out was simple, and we found the property as described. The hotel appeared to have some history, offering an authentic experience and comfortable stay in the Scottish Highlands.

It's a 500 yr old drovers inn in a nice location. My grilled fish dinner was very nicely cooked. We wanted to sit on the chairs outdoors, overlooking the valley, but sadly all were covered in bird poop. It's a bit down at heel, but friendly.

This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.

A no stress experience. Decent room & menus. Plenty of parking, and a really warm welcome from the owners John & Sue who went out of their way to make us feel at home. John even drove the 7 miles into Crianlarich one evening to collect 3 elderly female guests who could not find a taxi to take them to the hotel from the station.

Interesting old drovers inn near Crianlarich. Stands alone at the road side amid stunning scenery. We only stayed one night. Comfy beds. Quiet. Bathroom a bit spartan.Didn’t have breakfast due to early start. Perfectly adequate evening meal. Very welcoming staff. Would recommend for a stopover.
