Knew hotel under previous management and mainly booked for location near railway station. Gradually making improvements including availability of breakfast (personally would have preferred better quality sausages but they were adequate invwhat is basically a budget hotel). Clean and convenient- stayed on hottest days so room was a bit too hot, but that wasn't hotels fault!

Reception staff were lovely and the check in was simple and easy. Really good price for the quality of rooms. Only issue I had was woken up a few times in the night due to people walking above. I called before I booked to check if the hotel had air conditioning and the person on the phone said yes every room has it. When I arrived I was told it has been broken for ages abd it doesnt work, I wouldnt have stayed there if I'd had known this. The room was nice enough but like a sauna it was unbearable.

Sadly, the Belvilla has changed ownership once again and the facility is not worth giving any consideration at all. We checked in and immediately checked out. Bathrooms full of mold, carpets smelled, restaurant was torn up. I would strongly advise others to find another option if you are staying in Crewe.
