We loved everything about the Green Gem, from the fully equipped kitchen, to the top knotch beds, the modern & sleek bathroom, the outdoor deck & balcony, and the finer details (organic coffee, lovely flowers in several vases, high quality soaps, & room sprays, etch) - Leah has thoughtfully curated a wonderful stay! It was an especially great home base for our family of four, and our two young adult sons for their ambitious & successful summiting of Crestone & Little Bear peaks. We would welcome the chance to stay here again!

Wonderful property and beautiful home! Was so cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend, but it was a much further drive to the sand dunes than we had thought when booking. It was an hour drive to Sand Dunes national park entrance.

This was truly a gem! Our family stayed 3 nights and could not be happier. The house was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable and the view from the back y cannot be beat. We loved watching the sunset and stars from there. This is a must stay if you can snag it!

This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay!

Peaceful house, great location and well stocked place. Enough room to place a large dog kennel next to the kitchen table.Neighborhood is really quiet which is exactly what we needed. The crestone book was an interesting read and recommended perusing. Only suggestion is to add a deck of cards, uno, skipbo like games to the collection of games.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was lovely, very comfortable, and smelled like a spa when we arrived. I especially appreciated the owner's environmentally friendly approach, including saving food scraps for compost. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, and the thoughtful extras made a big difference. I was particularly grateful for the coffee and Ziploc bags that were provided. After being on a 10-day trip, I had run out of coffee and didn't want to purchase an entire new bag for just our last two days; that small touch was greatly appreciated.The host was excellent at communicating and made everything easy and stress-free.The only thing worth noting is that the Vrbo listing states that Great Sand Dunes National Park is about an 18-minute drive away, which was not accurate during our stay. The drive was closer to an hour. However, this is more of a listing issue than a problem with the home itself.Overall, this was a lovely place to stay, and we would happily return.

This house has the best stocked kitchen of any short-term we've stayed in. The home is newly remodeled, spacious and very clean. The beds were firm and comfortable. There were ample towels and blankets throughout the home. There was a side yard where we could let our dogs run around, and that was great. It's a very quiet location with deer around, and million dollar views of the mountains. Each room had its own thermostat, so you can dial in the temperature. The smart tv allowed us to watch a couple of movies. The owners left some eggs and fantastic coffee beans for our use. Just a wonderful stay. We will rent this house again next year.

Have you ever wanted to check in to a rental and be greeted with fresh flowers and have every possible thing you could ever need, including a bundt pan!?! Then this is the place for you!You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and attention into the design and details for this cabin. Everything feels new and high-end, including fancy soaps, coffee, and shampoo! I normally feel the need to wipe down and disinfect most rentals, but not this one because it was so clean. Even the dishes were spotless. Bonuses:- Filtered water was delicious to drink- Lots of dishes so you aren’t having to wash the same 6 plates over and over- Beautiful, live plants in the cabin- Portable speaker- Electric fireplace that can put out heat- Lots of games and puzzles- New, great-working appliances- Recycle and compostThis cabin truly has everything you could possibly want, and I would hesitate to stay here again! Hoping to in the future!
