Cres has been inhabited since the Paleolithic time period. Cres and Losinj island together were called Apsyrtides in ancient times. They're even mentioned in the Myth of Jason and Argonauts, so if you're fan of Greek mythology and literature, Cres is definitely a must -visit. In the past, Cres was connected to Losinj, but due to the needs of trade, these islands were separated by an artificially dug canal near Osor.

Well equipped apartment with a beautiful view

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The view was beautiful, the place was clean, well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The blackout curtains were not completely dark, but still good enough. The location was also great, with the sea only about 5 minutes away from the apartment, groceries about 3 minutes away We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment! Everything was perfect, except for a few nights when the neighbours were quite loud and we couldn’t until around 1am. We originally thought there was nobody above us since the apartment is on the top floor, but the neighbouring apartment seems to have an attic/top floor above this one, with bedrooms and a bathroom directly above. The ceiling didn’t isolate voices very well, so it got quite noisy
