Great accommodation in a great place should be more places like this to stay. Owner was very friendly and helpful, room had everything we needed, fridge microwave and bed was very comfortable.

Very unique stay i historic feed/farm store. Room was roomy, clean and quaint. Hostess was auper friendly and helped with directions to local attractions.

The hitching post is exactly what I look for in a place to stay, good price, clean, the rooms were spacious (got the king bed room), staff were quite friendly even calling me the day before to see which way I was coming because of road closures!!! All in all a wonderful stay!!!

Hotel is off the beaten track. Comfortable beds and clean. Air conditioner was a little loud. Had problems with the tv. Someone came quickly to help us. Very small town. Few choices to eat. Mule deer in the back yard in the morning. Beautiful.

If you ever find yourself close to Crawford, CO, you must stay at the Hitching Post! It is the very definition of charming. Sweet accommodates, comfortable beds, and delicious hometown eats. We loved our stay and you will too!

Most comfortable bed ever! Very clean and perfect for what we needed while leaf peeping through the area. Loved having a microwave, fridge and coffe supplied in the room. Soft towels! Great restaurant down the street called the North Fork Boardwalk and great coffee and breakfast and the Lazy J. Great communication and very accomadating with our late arrival.

Crawford is a snall town. It had a bar cslled North Fork with good food and a fun bartender named Stormy. There is also a new coffee shop. They were both very walkable. Gas station is about a mile away. The hotel was old with older furnishings but very clean and pleasant. Cherrie, the owner I believe, was so kind . Gave great directions to north rim of Black Canyon National Park, about 15 miles away. I would recommend this property.

Fantastic location for our day at the Black Canyon. Sheri provided outstanding service and understanding of the area, which added to our enjoyment of the area. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.
